Gianluca Becuzzi (born 1962, Piombino-Italy) is an electronic / electroacoustic composer and sound artist active since the first half of the 80’s. He released many albums and performed live around Europe during the last three decades under various names. Since 1999, his artistic production is characterised by a strong experimental imprint, by the interest into the expressive possibilities offered by the technologies and by a clear aesthetic inclination towards abstract forms and micro / macro noises / sounds. He deals with electronic / electroacoustic composition, sound art, audio installations, ambient post-scorings and sound design. The relationships between art and science, between audio and visual-spatial forms, as well as between composition and self-generative processes represent the main themes in my sonological research. Among the artistic productions of the latest years, in addiction to the experimental works under his own name, we have to mention also his solo works as Kinetix, the records in duet with Fabio Orsi, the electro-post-punk project Noise Trade Company and the harsh-power-noise productions as Greyhistory, plus several other collaborations with musicians, theatre companies and videoartists from the experimental area. Pietro Riparbelli is a philosopher, composer and sound-multimedia artist. Co-curator and executive producer of the meta-curatorial practice platform "Metasound", spin-off of the publisher Radical Matters - Editions / Label directed by SG, to investigate the dimension between music and contemporary art: http://www.radicalmatters.com/metasound Artist Statement: My work arises from the study of the Phenomenology of perception with particular reference to the dichotomy between Visible/Invisible strictly connected with the studies about the concept of sound landscape. About the environmental works I usually make a deep investigation of particular places, making recordings like field recordings or recordings of signals from short wave radio receivers and VLF receivers, in order to compose conceptual works about the selected sites; together with a deep study about the history of the place on which I’m working on. I’m interested in reconfiguring the sound panorama through its transcendental aspects to create a dimension that is not only sound but mainly a total perceptive dimension that bring ourselves to find out a new kind of perception. I realize works as PIETRO RIPARBELLI especially related to the world of Contemporary Art. So each work arise from a conceptual idea turned into sound. The field in which I principally work is linked to the perception of the sound landscape and to the perception of inner states of consciousness related to other dimensions of awareness. K11 is a project that deals with the world of radio signals, the trans-communication and other invisible phenomena, to create a dimension where the only sound sources are signals from shortwave radio receivers and field recordings taken from very specific locations. In this project I use only sounds coming from the atmosphere and from invisible places turned into fields of drone with particular interest into the study of the dynamics of Noise. 



MARCELLO BACCI - GRUPPO PSICOFONICO DI GOSSETO

Marcello Bacci inizia le sue ricerche nel mondo del paranormale all'inizio degli anni '60 passando attraverso una vasta gamma di metodologie. Dopo alcuni anni di sperimentazione con il magnetofono la ricerca si è andata focalizzando nella ricezione di Voci paranormali tramite un apparecchio radio-ricevente a valvole. L'uso di un apparecchio radio come strumento idoneo alla ricezione delle Voci paranormali fu suggerito dalle Voci stesse che Bacci registrava su magnetofono. I contatti radio avvengono oggi con particolari e ben precise modalità subordinate alla presenza di Marcello Bacci, elemento medianico catalizzatore di energie misteriose "che non sono di ordine scientifico, ma di altro ordine", come hanno precisato le Voci stesse. Tentativi di stabilire il contatto in assenza di Bacci hanno dato sempre esito negativo, confermando il ruolo medianico dello sperimentatore.

Michael Esposito was born 1964 in Gary, Indiana. He is an experimental artist and researcher in Electronic Voice Phenomena (EVP). An ancestor of Alfred Vail, who invented the Morse Code and several early telegraph devices with his partner Samuel Morse. Another ancestor, Jonathan Harned Vail was office manager and assistant to Thomas Edison in his later years when Edison was attempting to develop a device to communicate with the dead. Michael studied communication theory at Purdue University, University of Notre Dame, American University in Cairo, Egypt and Governor's State University. Over the years, under the Phantom Airwaves institution, Michael has participated in hundreds of paranormal investigations all over the world. He has conducted extensive research at many active locations and has developed a great deal of unique theory and devised many unique experiments within the field of EVP. Focusing primarily on EVP research, he has collected tens of thousands EVPs and video. He is featured in the films:

Michael Ford is an American musician and occult author who began his career in 1991 with the black metal band Abaddon (renamed Sorath a year later). Whilst in Sorath, Ford made his first attempts at more experimental music with Darkness Enshroud, first aided by Rahu (Dan Ferguson) and later by Shanna LeJeune. Another experimental avenue was explored with the death industrial project Valefor, whilst black metal would never leave his attention for long and has been pursued under the guise of Black Funeral which Ford originally formed in 1993. Michael W. Movimento d'Avanguardia Ermetico are: Yog : Vocals & Drums Ans : Guitars Formed in 2005 "Movimento d'Avanguardia Ermetico" is a raw and introspective black metal band. The current line-up is composed by Yog (vocals, bass and drums) and Ans (guitars). [ESORDI] Correva l'anno 2005 quando grazie all'esperienza maturata a partire dalla fine degli anni '90 - prevalentemente nel progetto "Sarghnagel" - un gruppo di appassionati di musica estrema si trovava per fondare il "Movimento d'Avanguardia Ermetico". Le finalità di tale progetto erano chiare sin dall'inizio: dar vita ad una forma di Black Metal che sappesse coniugare Tradizione, Avanguardia e spirito underground. Inizialmente la band si forma grazie a Yog (batteria), Ans (chitarra), Jemzo (voce), Onz (basso), ma ben presto quest'ultimo lascia la band per varie motivazioni. Con una formazione a tre viene registrato nel febbraio/marzo del 2006 il contributo di due pezzi ("Ermetico Signal d'antica Schiera" e "Guerriero" )confluiti successivamente nella ristampa di "Alle frontiere.." e sul secondo demo "IGNIS" nonché sullo split 2010 "Visionaries of Valiant Vagaries". [ALLE FRONTIERE DELL'ANIMA] Proseguono le attività del MDAE che nell'estate del 2007, dopo la dipartita del vocalist Jemzo e l'arrivo di R. I. al basso, pubblica "Alle frontiere dell'Anima", mini cd contenente quattro brani. Sorto in un momento di particolare travaglio e nonostante numerosi contrattempi "Alle frontiere..." rappresenta la vena più riflessiva e filosofica del Movimento, in cui solitudine ed introspezione si uniscono con la ricerca delle radici culturali e tradizionali a noi più affini. Tale demo, in occasione del solstizio d'estate 2008, è stata ristampata in versione tape con due bonus track ad opera della bulgara AMF prod. [IGNIS] Terminato anch'esso in occasione del solstizio d'estate, e dopo alcuni ritardi causati dalle poste italiane, nell'agosto 2008 è uscito il primo demo album della band, in versione demo, grazie alla WAR Kommand Prod, etichetta underground italiana che ci ha fornito un gradito e notevole supporto. La demo porta il titolo di "IGNIS", dove all'introspezione che contraddistingue il concept si unisce la ricerca del significato iniziatico del fuoco e del sole nero. [I SENTIERI DELLA TRADIZIONE] Inoltre il MDAE si è accordato con la band "Corvus Invictus" per la realizzazione di uno split, "Sentieri della Tradizione", registrato in occasione del solstizio d'inverno 2008 e pubblicato nel novembre del 2009 da WK. Prod. e da Alzig Art. Nel dicembre del 2009 sono state terminate le registrazioni di "Stelle Senza Luce", 45 minuti di inediti pubblicati dall'etichetta Russa Kunsthauch nel giugno del 2010. [ANNO 2010] Sempre nel 2010 è prevista l'uscita dello split Movimento d'Avanguardia Ermetico/Adrarakh/Triumphus Mortis/Gorrenje. Tale split intitolato "Visionaries of Valiant Vagaries" vede la partecipazione di band italiane e tedesche dedite ad una forma di black metal atmosferico e pagano. With PT-R project I want to investigate the way to create rhythmic sound landscapes making the use of environmental sounds (field recordings) with particular reference to the world of electronic scene. s.f.skancke. live rituals: s.f.skancke, s.o.toft Utarm was a project that has been dwelling for years,without finding its right form. Various black metal and ambient bands..projects was tried out through the nineties, but the constallations of people never worked,and it was clear that a oneman project was the only solution. Human relations seems to be a constant failure.in the early years of the new millenium the beast found its ugly shape. Not wanting to make the classic Black Metal, neither Noise or Doom, but creating true satanic desperation not bound by musical structures. Through Utarm the darker shadows of humanity can be found, a mirror to reflect the black holes and misery of oneself. Humans tend to avoid this side of their personality, therfore most humans does not have the caracteristics of a whole person, just shallow creatures who use their time to try and forget their unavoidable death. When confronted with utarm this is not longer possible. Total darkness concentrated to audial spikes of hate, and these spikes will penetrate you.....

Michael DeWitt Early ritual industrial project of Michael DeWitt (Nekrophile Records). Only "The Secret Eye of L.A.Y.L.A.H." and a few compilation tracks were ever recorded. A planned release of a musical/ritual rendition of The Book Of The Law was planned, but only one track ended up being completed. ZERO KAMA war ein musikalisches Soloprojekt von Michael DeWitt, der unter diesem Namen 1984 das Album "The Secret Eye of L.A.Y.L.A.H." veröffentlichte, auf dem ausschließlich Musik zu hören ist, die auf selbstgebauten Instrumenten aus menschlichen Schädeln und Knochen gespielt wurde. Inspiriert durch die Praxis tibetischer Mönche, aus den Knochen von Mönchen, hingerichteten Verbrechern und Jungfrauen rituelle Musikinstrumente anzufertigen, begann Michael DeWitt im Frühjahr 1984 eigene Knocheninstrumente herzustellen. Neben reich verzierten Oberschenkeltrompeten nach tibetischem Vorbild entstanden auch vier Schädeltrommeln, verschiedene Perkussionsinstrumente, ein Oberschenkelknochenyxlophon, eine Unterschenkelknochenflöte und zwei aus Unterschenkelknochen und Ellen zusammengesetzte Blasinstrumente, die durch ein Oboen-Doppelblatt-Mundstück angeblasen wurden.
