Carl Abrahamsson
Writer, photographer, musician, publisher, misanthropologist, experimental artisit, et cetera.
Carl Abrahamsson was in the '80s leader of the Scandinavian department of the Temple ov Psychic Youth, and was for a short time in the early 90's, also associated with Anton LaVey. Abrahamsson has had contacts with several well-known subcultural names, like Michael Gira, Kenneth Anger, Richard Kern, Freddie Wadling and Genesis P-Orridge. He start his carrer as publisher of music/subculture fanzines Lollipop and Acts Of Interstellar Torture, music-making with the band White Stains, Initial record label and publishing activities through TOPYSCAN, Edited and published occultural journal The Fenris Wolf, Founded and worked with record label and book publishing company Psychick Release, Co-founded and worked with film society Cinematick in Stockholm, organising numerous film shows, events and parties, including in-person-appearances by Herschell Gordon Lewis, Richard Kern, Lydia Lunch, Jörg Buttgereit and several others, Co-founded and worked with book publishing company Looking Glass Press, Founded and worked with advertising agency/think tank Übertex, co-founded Edda publishing with the artisit Fredrik Söderberg, and publish many books like ”Allt var bättre förr men inte länge till”, ”Bardo Tibet”, "Olika Människor" etc, Music-making with the bands Cotton Ferox and Deform Project, Editor at Tidningen Kulturen, music and film sections, Editor at The Fenris Wolf web magazine.
